Tony is not only a great guy, he is very talented and knowledgeable. I am really looking forward to this meeting, esp. because it is in Plano instead of Lower Greenville! I am sure I will learn a lot. John Mauldin

You asked for it. You got it. We're holding the February meeting in Plano at the Spaghetti Warehouse off 15th & I-75. We expect a full house, so RSVP early.

Who attended?

  • 38 attendees
    •  Had a great time, would like a little more time to network.
    •  It was very well organized. Tony did a great job. His interest in others really shows. I look forward to more.
    •  Tony, Thanks for the very thorough presentation and facilitating such a helpful event. Brent Tallent www.greenroombusinessvideos.com
    •  Well-organized, decent setting, and very engaged participants. Only issues were service, which I imagine is difficult for a room of 40 people -- perhaps having people order before the meeting starts and pay in advance might help. Also reminding people to bring a donation to support the Meetup is helpful -- I didn't have any cash, so I couldn't contribute. :(
    •  Great meeting and information and great people. So glad it moved north.
    •  I thought the presentation by Tony was fantastic, and it looks like the location (north Dallas) really made a difference in the attendance numbers. It was really great seeing so many new faces and being able to see how many other locals were using WordPress. However, I would suggest moving the meet-up to a different location that has stronger WiFi connections. Too many of us had problems with the WiFi which made it hard to take notes and check out the information that was being presented.

The people were good. The topic was good, although presentation needs a little improvement. WiFi sucked.

What a talented group and great energy! Thank you--everyone--for coming out, sharing, and participating.
    •  I was glad I could make a meeting for a change, and not worry about any schedule conflicts. It was a great event, and I was excited to meet folks personally that I've caught or connected with online.
    •  Great turnout and a great group of people. Good food as well.
    •  The room was packed with great people who were all doing creative things with WordPress. It was a blast to have back to back conversations about blogging with WordPress. I especially liked that I got to talk to a non-Profit organizer, a political consultant, a Colbert fan site developer, an eBay affiliate, a sustainability writer, a multimedia grad student, an ex-Mashable technologist, and a Spanish blogger all in the span of one two hour session. You can't beat that, especially for free.
    •  Great crowd, very diverse, pretty friendly... lots of knowledgeable folks willing to share :)
    •  Best in terms of presentation.
