Hi Cali and everybody - I'd especially like to learn more about using the SEO plug-ins for WP! Recommend All-in-one SEO Pack?

    Hi Cynthia!

Yes, I've been pleased with AIO-SEO, but it doesn't magically replace my deliberate SEO efforts, it supports them.

Help Wanted- We are in the process of building a large number of WordPress-based magazine-style web sites (see encontent.com for an examples). We are looking for part-time (20 hrs) work from home (except once a week meeting at our office off Central and LBJ) to help manage the sites. This is not a design, writing, or programming position. We will train.

1st, I need to say thanks for contacting me. I am amazed at the number of people interested in the position, as well as the talent available (I had over 65 people contact me).

2nd, I need to apologize that I have not responded until now. Because of the overwhelming response I have not been able to reply to everyone.

Finally, through this post an old friend resurfaced, he & his family are in need, he has the experience/expertise needed & I am compelled to help him out.

Thanks for all the great feedback! I will be better next time about keeping you informed about the schedule. We start at 4pm, but most talks do not begin until 4:20-4:40 so that people get a chance to straggle in, get settled, and network. We had a few extra minutes delay this time and for that I apologize. (We, unfortunately, also need to leave at 6pm sharp so the building security staff can clock out.)

I loved it. I am a brand new beginner and now can see such unlimited potential and support within the group. Great feeling!

After a late start, presumably awaiting the arrival and setup of the video equipment (BTW, it would have been really considerate to have shared this info with the crowd), Cali and unnanounced co-star John P. shared a great deal of useful information about their recommendations for WordPress plug-ins with the crowd. I was really glad to be there. Thanks to everyone, especially Cali and John.
  • Dan Sturdivant
Cali (and John P) did a great job. Only request, if the meeting could start on time that would be great!
  • Ken Knighton

Cali is always an engaging and enthusiastic speaker. Her selection of "must have" plugins to extend WP included some of our favorites, as well as introducing us to several new ones. Her support team (John P & Tony C) were awesome! Thanks DFWWP for providing yet another stellar meetup.

Thanks to Cali for taking the time to share some of her favorite WP plugins with us. And to Tony Cecala for always doing such a great job of putting the meetups together. Also to John P and the other DFWWP members for adding much to the discussions. Great group!

Tony - another great meetup. Cali shared a lot of great info, especially useful to a WP newbie like myself.
  • Cliff Baise
    Awesome and very informative.
  • Pete Griffith
Very nice group and an excellent presentation by Cali Lewis. Impressive in every way and very useful info!
  • Howard Harkness
Had some trouble connecting to the wireless network (maybe the number of connections was maxed out?). Fortunately, I had my cellphone tether. The presentation was very interesting and full of useful information. The meeting started a bit late, so the end of the presentation was a bit rushed -- I would not have minded if the presenter had taken another half hour.

Great meeting. Lots of great goodies I can put to use. Thanks, Cali! I just registered for OpenCamp and I'll be staying at the fabulous Crowne Plaza. Can't wait!
