Tony answered so many of the questions I had about WordPress during the workshop. When I got home, I immediately put to use what I'd learned. And for the first time in 2 years, I felt confident as I navigated my WP site by making significant progress on developing it. Also, I left with so many valuable resources that Tony personally uses, that I now feel encouraged that I know how to search for appropriate plugins & new themes. This was money & time well spent. Thank you, Tony!

Will this one dive under the covers much, like how to edit the underlying PHP and CSS?

I can pretty much do all the non coding stuff. I'm at the point I need to know the file and db structure and how to customise templates.

Do we need to bring a laptop?

Hi Shannon, this WP101 is an overview and baby steps intro. Editing CSS is WP102, editing PHP is WP103. You seems to be at the WP[masked] level. Laptop good for notes and follow-along, but it is NOT a lab class where everyone works on a site. Not time for that in 3 hrs.

I wish I could attend this fabulous event, but I'm teaching in Denison all day tomorrow. My last Saturday class until June, so you'll see me a lot this year. Have a great time everyone and I'll see you soon.

Hey Tony. How does this one Fall compared to the last workshop I attended. Still basics or getting our hands dirty a little?

Still the basics. I'll have a "102" level class soon! :)
