The Four Worthy Truths: Middle Way Course #1 Class 1

How to use Buddha's powerful life-hacking code to rewire yourself for greater happiness.

This will begin a four week course on the very first teaching given by the being known as "The Buddha" or the awakened one.  (AKA: a guy who learned how to be truly happy, and was nice enough to leave some tips for us to follow.)

This is not your ordinary "Buddhist" course. This is the first course in the new and developing Middle Way Center curriculum, being created by our Spiritual Director Lama Marut, and taught at affiliated Middle Way Centers all over the globe.

The material will draw from and show the connections between most all of the world's spiritual traditions, as well as the various forms of non-spiritual moral ways of living.

The courses are very accessible and meaningful for beginners and old "Buddha-heads" alike.  Each course will stand on it's own but to get the most out of it, it is highly recommended to come for each of the four Wednesdays.

(A limited number of video conference seats may be made available for those not able to be there in person. If interested please inquire.)

Really great lesson, didn't noticed the time fly by. Too bad I didn't have enough energy left to fully enjoy the meditation at the end - well, next time.:-)

By the way. Sorry if you posted a question and didn't get an answer. I was not getting the notifications properly. There is nothing you need to do to prepare for the class except to come with an open mind and heart. The classes are all free or by voluntary donation. And if you missed the first class, NO PROBLEM, as we will always do a short review at the beginning of each subsequent class. So come to the next one! Peace, David.

I've heard this teaching a few times before, but I loved the fresh and in-depth perspective. Came away with a lot to think about and some new "tools" for how to deal with how I see the world! Looking forward to the next class.

Thankyou so much for putting this on. It's already changed my perspective on the problems in my life. Looking forward to next week!

Is this a fee-based class? If so, how much is it?

Sarah -- according to the website it looks like all of these courses are free (but donations are accepted if you are able.) But I'm new to this meetup myself, so someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong !
