Crowdfunding 2.0- What’s next?

This presentation includes a comprehensive overview about crowdfunding, its history and where it’s headed.  If you’re familiar with crowdfunding you should come to hear “what’s next” and  if you’re not, then it’s essential you attend as crowdfunding is a game changer for all entrepreneurs and investors going forward.  Up to now crowdfunding has been the best kept secret to those in the know, the tech crowd and entertainment industry.  Are you ready for crowdfunding to explode to the mass market?  The emerging market has hundreds of crowdfunding platforms and business models, do you know which one is best for you, do you know which ones will be the successful survivors as the market quickly consolidates?

Currently Crowdfunding is mostly rewards based but soon it will be able to offer equity to investors.  Learn the latest on the new law: “Jumpstart Our Business Startups Act, Title III”, that passed last year but has yet to be enacted as the SEC struggles to write all the rules.  If crowdfunding works the way it’s intended, then you’re looking at the next $500 Billion worldwide asset based financial tool.

The presenter, Sandy Goldman, has been researching crowdfunding for the past year and most recently presented at the Silicon Valley Crowdfunding Conference and Expo, the first of its kind dedicated to the business of crowdfunding.  He has been involved with numerous startups and held executive marketing positions at The Trump Institute, SkyMall and Turner Broadcasting System.  At the end of the presentation he will share what led him to start America’s Crowdfunding.

Interesting concept. At this time I am at least aware of this opportunity, last night being a good introduction to crowdfunding. At this time I will stay on the sidelines checking to see how this progresses.
The Private Placement Memorandum was very informative. I found this to be much more informative than the crowdfuning and it is clear on how I will get good returns and the business plan on why these returns are plausible.
