The Mountain High Workshops put on excellent photo workshops. I have been to one myself and their intimate knowledge of the best photo shooting locations and their accomplished classroom instructors made it very worthwhile.
The Pasadena Photochromers club invites you to meet in Jackson, Wyoming for the next Mountain High Workshop by Bill Wight and his talented instructors, James Neeley, Kevin McNeal, Jeff Sullivan and Steve Sieren. Their fourth landscape photography workshop will be held in Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks and there are still a few openings. The dates are May 31 through June 5, 2010. James Neeley, who lives near Grand Teton Park, will lead the group to his favorite photography shooting sites. The Mountain High workshops are not guided photo tours, but the program is geared to instruction both in the field and in the classroom. You will learn the techniques of advanced landscape composition and how to process your images in Photomatix pro, Photoshop CS4 and Adobe Lightroom. They will help take your landscape photography skills to a higher level.

Here is a student in their Joshua Tree workshop said about her recent experience:
"I attended my first on-location photography workshop?Mountain High Workshops, Joshua Tree National Park, March 21-27, 2010.
The amazing photographic talents of Bill Wight, James Neeley, Steve Sieren, Kevin McNeal and Jeffrey Sullivan inspired me to attend this workshop. And they didn?t disappoint. Imparting their knowledge, secret tricks of the trade, and providing encouragement to the workshop participants made, judging by myself and my fellow participants, the Joshua Tree Workshop a resounding success.
Each day I thought the photography ?couldn?t get any better?...and each day the team of instructors exceeded my expectations! Thanks guys, I was ?moved?!"
