Photo Excursion at the San Diego Zoo

Hello My Fellow Photographers, I apologize for being inactive but sometimes we get caught up in our lives. I was wondering if anyone is interested in going to the San Diego Zoo at a photo excursion. Our group will take a train to SD and a few cabs to the Zoo. Then we will finish the day off by going to the pier for an early dinner at the Pier Cafe and take some pics down there too. This is not a cheap trip but it is fun. I can get discount tickets at $32. Train fare is about $60.00 round trip. Cab ride to the zoo and back to pier is about $20 per car. Oh...we will be leaving early in the morning catching the 8:05am from Santa Ana and arriving to San Diego 9:58am. Then we will take a cab to zoo. Make sure to eat breakfast or take snacks. Snacks are really expensive at the zoo. I had to pay $3.00 for a small bag of doritos. I plan to have an excursion quarterly this upcoming year.

What time of day would you prefer to do a photography hike?

**I had to edit the poll options after I posted. I received the time options from the Reserve. Sorry if your vote was lost. Many apologies! I am working with the Irvine Ranch Nature Reserve to host a 3 hour photography hike. We get to pick the time of day. We are currently aiming for a day in the middle of July. I do know yet which canyon we will be hiking through. Please let me know your preference. Note: For those of you who attended this is the same group who holds the Fire Documentation hike. We will be going to a different canyon on this hike.
