Photographing Still Items for Stock Photography

If you enjoy photography and have an interest in making additional money with your photography, then this workshop may be for you. This workshop is intended to show the photographer how to set up for basic still product stock photography. We will be discussing the process of what to look for when shooting stock photos. It is also intended to show the photographer how to get still product portfolio images and to learn the essential skills needed to light the product with the use of studio strobes. This is hands on. The participants will be able to use the studio lighting equipment during the session so please bring your cameras and tripods. I will be discussing and demonstrating lighting techniques that I use when shooting still product for stock, does and don'ts, key wording etc..

Each tutorial is meant to provide the photographer with information that they can use in their photography business or hobby. These techniques are meant to help you enhance the look and quality of your portfolio images.

This event is very simple in its focus. However, every lesson taught is fundamentally vital for all novice photographers to gain the skills needed while using studio strobe lighting equipment. Photographers must bring their own digital camera.
