Startup Weekend Green Bay*

If you’re not familiar, Startup Weekend is a 54-hour event where developers, designers, and business development (sales & marketing, social media, business geeks) come together to work on an idea and maybe launch a business, all in one weekend. It is a great opportunity to test startup ideas, meet new people, and learn what it takes to create a scalable business. And no, you don't need to pitch an idea (you can just join another team) and no, you don't need to continue working on the startup after the weekend. All you need is your skill(z) and a laptop.

*This is a fee-based event* You must register to attend. See details below.

It will be held at St. Norbert College on Feb 21-23, 2014. For more information and to register for the event visit: http://swgreenbay.com

Startup Weekend Green Bay provided the mad science lab that I needed to turn a crazy idea into a market-validated business seed. Thanks to you and the @Leagueify team for helping my idea take third place at SWGB.

LOVED IT! Awesome event for people of all ages, I learned A TON of information this weekend and of course it's always nice to place first with the judges. It's events like these that really start entrepreneurship in small areas like Green Bay. Thank you Chris especially and other contributors for organizing this event, you have my gratitude.

I would not wanna miss this for anything & have a great idea to share. However, if anyone can plz answer 2 of my questions, so I can register soon - 1) I've a Projects Release this weekend and I need to support it over the weekend. We'll there be Internet access. . So I can do office work? 2) Are the Idea pitches gong to be verbal or a PPT is required? .. or can I draw of a white board? Thanks much.

Guarav, I apologize, I actually misspoke. It turns out you CAN pitch multiple ideas if you'd like. The only potential issue is that if there is a lot of interest in both ideas you'll have trouble deciding which one to work on.

Lol. .. No worries. I'm sure I'd be able to decide. Thanks much.

CAN'T WAIT for Startup Weekend. Have an amazing idea I need to pitch, and the anxiety of one week is only growing! I look forward to seeing everyone going, and hopefully even being on the same team.
