Henry Mares will be presenting a workshop on "Making good video, GREAT!" Using some basic techniques you can improve your shot quality and editing skills. Bringing your next project to the next level is as easy as following a formula. Learn from one of Colorado's best and most decorated videographers, Mares Productions has won numerous awards and accolades for their productions over the years. Secret Skype visitor: Last month we had a great conversation with David Robin. He discussed the topic of Digital Fusion and how it is a "Game Changer." Who will the CoPVA have as a guest this month? Well here is a hint, bring your Marketing Questions and be ready for our Secret Skypee to give you the real skinny! Last month we ran out of time for our Video Brown Bag. Bring your videos for the group to see your latest work.

Real nuts and bolts video was great. Let's do it again real soon. I will submit something this time.

Keep the food. Where is the survey? We need a professional ranking system!

I really enjoyed the presentation on improving videos. The more we have on filming and editing that is non product specific the more valuable to me. I recognize that my interests are narrower than a lot of other members. The skype section is a great use of technology and works incredably well.

I would have liked to hear the rest of Henry's editing tips rather than spend so much time on critiquing the vids. I think he had some valuable info that we missed. Just a suggestion, that we could have skipped the brown bag to give Henry more time to present.

I have been a memeber for a long time and it's all been great. But I will say that this meeting was probably one of the better ones. The type of dicussions I had last night were exactly the reason I joined. To get some real input from an industry professional that was eager to share.
