April CoPVA Meeting

  • April 26, 2010 · 6:00 PM

Our April meeting we are going to be talking with Arif Gangji. He is going to be discussing the future of SEO for Web Video (Ranking criteria specific) and the future of Video on the Internet (General). Arif has been hacking his way through the web since 1996 and has been a founding member of 6 startups so far. He is currently the Managing Partner at Neon Rain Interactive – a Denver based Web Development and Internet Marketing firm with offices in Vancouver, BC. Neon Rain was ranked in the Top 10 Web Development Firms by the Denver Business Journal in 2008, 2009, and 2010. Arif has worked with companies such as Subway, HP, Roadgear, Salvation Army, Mr. Food, and the Province of British Columbia. Arif also sits on the Board of Directors for the Colorado Business Leaders group and is ramping up a video blog called Entrelicious.com which helps guide budding Entrepreneurs through the mountain tops and valleys of the entrepreneurial journey. Get ready for our "Secret Skype Visitor". Last month we talked with Steve "Doc" Yankee about 10 types of Corporate Videos that you can market. His insights were great and the entire group can turn some of those ideas into dollars, especially with video over the web. This month get ready to ask questions about making our Association better. We will be talking with another PVA about what things that work to bring their group together. If you have any videos you want to show please bring them for the "Video Brown Bag." The group can give you constructive criticism to help you grow as a Videographer. Looking forward to seeing you there. CoPVA Board of Directors

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
