Fun atmosphere, but definitely lacking in the food.

This was a great group of people and N&'s is a great place -BUT- they seriously blew this event. Not enough food (and a poor sampling at that), lousy wine choices and a failure to understand the opportunity afforded them. MANY of our Dine events result in members ordering additional drinks and staying for dinner... NO INCENTIVE to do either at N&J's. Many left dissatisfied and had dinner elsewhere. I think venues need to be coached to serve their best appetizers or meal specialties and NOT skimp! That will induce people to stay for dinner or come back with their friends and families. Unless the event is co-sponsored by a specific beverage distributor, they should serve mixed drinks in addition to beer AND wine because visitors will enjoy greater satisfaction and happily order another round or two. They should easily understand the profit equation. Sundy House, Secrets, even Sushi Jo get it... Most of the rest miss the opportunity and then whine about the results.
