DIM SUM..ORIENTAL EAST

It's supposed to be a balmy 46 degrees on Sunday, it's Chinese New Year and Phil saw his shadow...lots to celebrate...so meet me in line around 10:30 outside Oriental East. Doors open at 11 and every one needs to be there so we can all sit together at one of the large round tables.
CASH ONLY. We have been here twice and individual bills have been around $15. We will be sharing the food and bill. Inexpensive, great food and plenty of it.
One block from downtown silver spring metro and large free parking lot adjacent to restaurant.
Do not RSVP if you are not attending and not sure you can attend. We always have a waiting list so be courteous and cancel ASAP if not coming

This was my first time out with this Meetup, and it was very nice meeting everyone at the table. The Dim Sum was great even though the restaurant was slammed because it was Chinese New Year. Normally I wouldn't deal with such a crowd under any circumstances, but the company, the food, and the Chinese Dragon going through the restaurant made it one of those experiences it is fun to re-tell!

Glad u enjoyed it..yes it was way more crowded than ever but fun. Service Is usually much speedier but a chinese dim sum on Chinese new year..I should have known!!!
