Well, I can't tell you a thing about Huarache Azteca as they're CLOSED on TUESDAYS!!! Mondays I can understand, but Tuesdays?!
Fortunately, it was a nice day, so I sat out front waiting for others to show up and talking to the upstairs neighbor who spent a half hour hauling trash to the curb.
I met Jeff from Neshanic Station for the first time. (That's his real name, too. Jeff from Neshanic Station. It's on his credit cards and everything! Ask him about it when you meet him!) Since no one else showed up by 7:05 and we didn't see *anyone* who looked like Linda walking towards us for blocks, we headed over to the Mexican place two streets over and a coupla' blocks down from Huarache Azteca. You want better directions? Google it!
(Linda, if you did show up late, I apologize profusely! I normally send out my cell phone number with these announcements JIC of situations like this but I forgot to this time. It's all Jeff from Neshanic Station's fault! Blame him!)
Turns out Jeff and I hit it off very well. We have a lot in common: podcasts, SF books, podcasts, books, iPods, you get the drift.
And the food was *very* good! This place beats the Mexican place in High Bridge hands down! According to the trash-hauling neighbor, the owner of this Mexican place is the father of the owner of Huarache Azteca, so the food should be as good.
Too bad more of you didn't come out. I had a pretty good time.
