Another Oktoberfest! This time in Fredrick, MD. I figure we'll meet in York somewhere around 8, 8:30, grab a bite of breakfast on the way, probably after we meet up with the rest of the group, then spend the day in Fredrick at the celebrations!
I would think we'd be returning sometime mid to late afternoon, perhaps early evening. We will see how everyone wants to handle it.
Admission is $10.00, HOWEVER,
FREE ADMISSION if you wear an authentic Dirndl or Lederhosen to Frederick’s Oktoberfest. Partial dress, German t-shirts, and/or hats do not qualify for free admission.
Frederick's Octoberfest is an event rich in tradition and history!
Bratwurst, Oktoberfest bier, German wines, dancing, music, children's events and much more! And it all benefits Frederick County charities. Spearheaded by the Rotary Club of Carroll Creek, Rotary Club of Fredericktowne, and the Rotary Club of Southern Frederick County this annual event not only promotes cultural xchange, but it also supports both clubs' efforts in the community to raise thousands of dollars for area non-profits.
