Your evening at The Vin Club will be hosted by Dario Zucconi, a San Francisco native and son from the famous Tommaso’s Restaurant in North Beach. He served as wine director of his family’s restaurant, created the Tommaso’s Wine Club, a pre-internet wine-of-the-month club, and also wrote a weekly wine column for The North Beach Journal, as well his own monthly newsletter “By The Glass,” all before he was 28 years old. Dario launched VinNostro Cellars in 2001 and has now built an award winning wine label. Today Dario still directs and oversees the entire production of his 1000 case annual production under the VinNostro Cellars label. Dario also owns The Vin Club Wine Lounge, a wine bar/café in San Francisco’s historic North Beach district. It was built in 2009 to showcase his label VinNostro Cellars, as well as other small boutique wineries in California and around the globe.
