Free short Film screening at Alamo Drafthouse Village

Hello everyone!

I am writing because I thought you guys might be interested in hearing about a screening that will be taking place on September 4th at the Alamo Drafthouse Village.

The short film First Date tells the hilarious and terrifying true story of a man whose first date with the perfect woman becomes a nightmare when he has an attack of Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Conceived and executed as a horror movie, and billed as “13 Minutes of Pure Terror”, it was voted Best of Fest by the audiences at over half of the festivals where it was eligible, and is one of the most gut-bustingly funny experiences you will ever have in a movie theater.

It will be followed by the world premiere of a scene from the upcoming feature film Found Footage 3D. This groundbreaking genre bender tells the story of a group of low-budget filmmakers who, in the course of shooting “the first 3D found footage horror movie,” find themselves in a found footage horror movie when the evil entity from their film starts showing up in their behind-the-scenes footage. The movie is being produced by Kim Henkel, the writer/producer of the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and this screening will be the first time anyone has seen the movie in 3D.
