Sweetwater Reservior (Old Iron Bridge)

The entire course is about 20 miles out and back and it runs along the base of Mt San Miguel all the way around the south side of Sweetwater Reservoir and out past the Bonita Golf Course. There's a lot of sweet single track with some jeep roads mixed in and some rolling hills (nothing too bad) to keep it interesting. There's also a good turn-around point at about 3.5 miles for anyone who wants a shorter 7 mile run; Also for those of you looking for something in between there's another good turn around at mile 6.5 to give you an even 13 miles.

Here's the trailhead location. Hwy 94 just past Target center / YMCA in Rancho San Diego:

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
