Congrats to all of you who ran and completed the Oriflamme 50K...especially you first timers. If you are signed up for the PCt 50 it is a month away! We run 20.....or more out and back on the PCT. Bring plenty of hydration as there is no aid stations. One strategy is in addition to your backpack bring an extra hand bottle or giant bottle of your favorite drink. Ditch it around mile 7 so that you can pick it up on your return back to Boulder Oaks. Don't be sorry......be prepared. make sure to check the weather Friday night. I have run on the PCT in Mid-April and have it snow on my ass! After the run we will hit up either Janet's or Alpine Brewery on the way home. make sure to bring a change of clothes.
