Charlotte road trip

Look at the basket on Renny #2! Note the stairs to the #18 basket in the background.

The Charlotte area is home to 6 of the top 10 courses in our glorious state, each of them having a rating of 4-plus out of 5 stars.

We'll knock out 4 courses in 2 days.

Day 1:

We'll meet at the business parking lot near Leigh Farm at around 8:30. We can carpool from there to our first destination. Drive time should be a little over 2 hours.

We will play the Hornet's Nest (roughly 11:00), then have lunch, then play Renaissance Park (roughly 3:00).

Day 2:

Rise and shine, eat some breakfast, then it's time for round 2.

We will play Robert C. Smith Park (roughly 10:00), then have lunch, then play Nevin Park (roughly 1:30). That should get us back by 7 or 8.

----------------

There is method to my course madness. And even doing it this way will only amount to about an hour of driving between hotel and courses.

This also show the exciting challenge we are facing. The easiest course we play is harder than any course any of us has played (that I know of). And the hardest one, even pros have to be on their game to hit par. We'll lose some discs, walk 14-15 miles, not even come close to par... and have a blast! Either day should be great if you can only make it for one day.

I just uploaded maps for all four courses to the "Files" section. Since we are going to have to split up, I need a least one other person to print these out and bring them along. Thanks!

Thanks Mike. If there is there anyone that still needs to split a double, let me know.
Also, we don't all have to meet at Leigh Farm, because we won't all be in the same vehicle. Just try to get to Hornet's Nest at 10:45 so we can find each other.
