The Jaguar Club is a Brooklyn band we're pretty excited about. They've got all the right 80's influences, and they put em all together in a way that's sparse and upbeat like Felt. The band not the material.
- The L Magazine

"One of dirty Brooklyn's best up-and-coming indie acts...Their disaffected post-punk is not only keeping the fledgling genre alive, but it's spawning impromptu dance parties everywhere it performs."
- Michael Morotta , The Boston Herald

Music this infectious certainly doesn't need to be brought to an audience with a sweaty, full-force performance, but it was and the crowd responded in turn. The show ultimately seemed about half-concert and half-party; in the best, most fun way possible.

Field Theory
These days aren’t filled with much more chorus than the chaos of my life on the road, so when a few solid notes trickle their way into my ears by accident, it feels like solace – and Brooklyn’s Field Theory are my most current provider. –Friends with Both Arms Blog

This is clearly a band that is starting to find it's way and they're just on the cusp of breaking it wide open. One listen to "Captain's," topsy turvy, ebb and flow style and you'll see what I mean. The song hits enough peaks and valley's to make an mountain climber ill and illustrates quite clearly that ownership of the big song is destined to be theirs. –POP Stereo Blog

On a gloomy rainy Sunday night, the Mercury Lounge was near empty. It felt like we had our own private show from the bands. Field Theory sounded great (even with a lack of sound check), but sadly they had to cut their set short one song. Their new songs sound great and cant wait for a new album to get released. Im still missing the lack of 'Savior' on the setlist, but their other songs are still just as great. I really liked the new song 'Haiti' which was a stand out - even if its about LA. The playful banter about love songs, or lack of love songs was entertaining. The Jaguar Club had even less people than Field Theory. There were maybe 25 of us in there max at the height of capacity. I had remembered them being a bit more poppy with a bit more of a brit-pop sound, but it seems to have vanished (or my memory is fleeting). The 3 guys tried their best to seem into it, but at points it seemed like they were just going through the motions. Regardless, it was still a great night!
