There is a link to a cheap deal below--do it before midnight Thursday, 11/10/11!
I've been trying to get back to the Grammy Museum for some time and now I've found a deal and a program for both! I enjoy listening to Frank and thought this sounded like fun. Is he the greatest singer that ever lived? Certainly not despite what some fanatics seem to think--but some of his tunes are great. I'll be interested to see his performances on film as presented here.
Reel to Reel: Sinatra Sings
Presented by The GRAMMY Museum
Thursday, December 1, 2011; 7:30pm
A beloved entertainer for six decades, Frank Sinatra is one of the world's most recognizable, admired, and influential artists of all time. To pay tribute, The GRAMMY Museum is proud to present an hour-long Sinatra special titled Sinatra Sings, featuring some of Sinatra's best television performances. The screening comes after the recent release of Sinatra: Best of the Best, a CD and digital that, for the first time, captures Sinatra's greatest recordings for both Capitol Records and his own Reprise Records. Some of the classic tracks included are I've Got The World On A String, Come Fly With Me, The Way You Look Tonight, and My Way. Following the screening, Sinatra's daughters Nancy and Tina Sinatra will take the stage for a discussion moderated by GRAMMY Museum Executive Director Bob Santelli.
Doors open at 7:00 p.m. Admission is free; reservations required. Members receive priority seating. To reserve your seats, please call[masked] or e-mail [masked].
