"You Can't Stop the Beat" when plus-sized dreamer Tracy Turnblad starts dancing on a popular local TV show, in this upbeat, uplifting production of the hit Broadway show. Transforming herself from a shunned outsider to a true teen celebrity, Tracy sets out to triumph over both snotty teen queens and racial segregation. Set in 1962 Baltimore and based on the 1988 movie by John Waters, Hairspray won eight Tony Awards including Best Musical, Best Book and Best Original Score, for such hit songs as "Welcome to the '60s" and "Good Morning Baltimore." Hairspray then became a popular 2007 movie again starring John Travolta and Nikki Blonsky. There's nothing like seeing Hairspray the musical live on stage.

The show runs from 2:00PM to 4:30PM including an intermission.
