Pluckers: The restaurant started here in Austin in 1991 by a couple of college students. They serve local favorite college inspired food as well as mom inspired food. Here is the website: http://www.pluckers.c... The wait staff was super nice (no I didn't eat there just stopped to check email) and it looked like a great place to socialize. Since this is an Austin original, I figured it would only be appropriate to go to the original first Plucker's restaurant.

Menu items that raised my eyebrows in curiosity:

I'm two months old (living in Austin) and I keep seeing some really fantastic places while driving. I have now discovered Plucker's. However, it needs a group of people who like to discover new places, try new things and share both food and conversation.
