One Billion Rising - FREEZE MOB in Singapore

Take part in Singapore's FREEZE MOB to join the One Billion Rising global movement!

One in three women on the planet will be raped or beaten in her lifetime.
One billion women violated is an atrocity.
One billion people rising is a revolution.

SHOUT! is planning a FREEZE MOB on 14 February 2013 in solidarity with the One Billion Rising global movement. One Billion Rising is a global strike to end violence against women. On 14th February, men and women all over the world are going to take to the streets – dancing, singing, jumping – to demonstrate the power of numbers, and the commonality of women’s struggles around the globe.

In the spirit of the One Billion Rising movement, SHOUT! is organizing a Freeze Mob to take a stand against sexual harassment at the workplace. Rise with us, freeze with us, SHOUT! with us to end violence against women.

Between 12:30pm-1:30pm (lunchtime) on 14 February, we will freeze for one minute at Raffles Place. If you believe in this cause and are excited to be part of a global movement, sign up.

Volunteers will have to be available from from 12.30pm-1.30pm on 14 Feb 2013 (Thurs), and for a two hour briefing from 7:00om-9:00pm on 13 Feb 2013 (Wed) where you’ll learn the fun-tastic choreography we have planned out ;)

Please share this event with all your friends if you feel so compelled even if you are unable to join in personally yourself.

Many Blessings
Regina
