Next Step Toastmasters presents an educational session "From good to GREAT! -- Becoming a compelling and connected speaker" by guest speaker Matt Abrahams. Educational session is followed by our regular meeting with prepared speeches and advanced evaluations.

Guests are asked for a $5 donation to offset costs, which is reimbursed if you join Next Step.

In this interactive presentation, you will learn specific, immediately applicable engagement techniques that are informed by scholarly research. Specifically, you will learn techniques and best practices for:

(2) - Preparing audiences to participate
(3) -Facilitating collaboration

Matt Abrahams is a passionate, collaborative and innovative educator and coach who teaches Strategic Communication for Stanford University's Graduate School of Business and Presentation Skills for Stanford's Continuing Studies Program and De Anza College. Matt is also co-founder of Bold Echo Communication Solutions, which is an industry leading communication coaching consulting practice.
