Holiday Stories: Silicon Valley Storytellers Meeting

Is there a better time to tell a story than at the holidays? Its the holiday season: Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, St. Lucia Day, Christmas, Boxing Day, Sylvester, New Year's, to name a few. We gather with friends & family to express gratitude, share faith, celebrate traditions, look back on the past year and look ahead to the next year.

For your consideration, a few famous Holiday Stories that come to mind this time of year: Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol", Clement Clarke Moore's poem "T'was the Night Before Christmas", Dr. Seuss' "How the Grinch Stole Christmas", The Nutcracker ballet, and "it came to pass in those days ...".

Hollywood knows how to tell a holiday story: "Miracle on 34th Street", "Its a Wonderful Life", "Home Alone", Frosty the SnowmanRudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, and 30 years old this year the classic movie filmed in Cleveland "A Christmas Story"

Now its time to tell YOUR favorite holiday stories! Share a story about a special holiday moment in your life, spin a yuletide yarn or talk about your favorite holiday tradition. Come to the only December Silicon Valley Storytellers meeting to participate on a journey through our Holiday Stories.
