LIVE CHATROOM too! Let me start by saying WE ARE SOME OF THE FRIENDLIEST PEOPLE WHO ATTEND MEETUP EVENTS!!! Yes, you will feel included, yes you will be encouraged to join into the conversations... Yes, you will be introduced around... (now here are some specifics as to what this group is about)

Not only about DIVORCE, it's for people restarting their lives... Come meet people in similar situations, and those who are now past it... there is hope!

While aimed mostly toward people getting together to lighten your spirits thru social activities, we also have a message board and will have some guest speakers regarding relevant topics... financial planning, custody and visitation, tax questions, and family counseling, etc.

Occasionally, we might also have some group outings where the kids are invited out--so that non-custodial as well as parents with custody can mingle and have their children meet others in similar situations.

Our activities include but are not limited to: dining out, dancing, karaoke, stopping into some local bars to grab a drink of beer or cocktail and chat, wine and cheese tasting, bowling, easy hiking adventures, movies in the park and music/food festivals, etc.

Mostly it's about cutting loose, letting your hair down and partaking in some much needed fun and relaxation in an atmosphere where most of us have been in the same boat and can offer a shoulder to lean on.

It's for people not only going thru divorce, but widowed, separated, and those in a transition in their lives... Join!
