DIYnot?: Crafting at the Shore is a new group, a place for crafters of all backgrounds to meetup, share crafting tips, and set aside time to create and work on their crafts. This group is a great place for people with different craft backgrounds to gather and make new friends and connections in the crafting community. The more diverse group we have, the more diverse the meetings will be. Great for jewelry making, beading, crochet, knitting, scrapbooking, woodwork, clay, sculpture, painting, drawing, etc. The list can go on and on. Bring your own unique skills to add to the group. Share your talents and learn some new tricks. This group will have open meetings for independent crafting, specialized craft meetings, and how-to classes for different types of crafts. Keep an eye on the group calendar for community events as well as field trips to craft stores, craft shows, and craft fairs.
Today will be an Open Studio for crafting. Bring along your own crafting materials and use this time to work on your project, meet new crafty friends, and trade crafting tips.
You can bring any portable craft you're working on:
jewelry, beading, crochet, knitting, drawing, scrapbooking, hand quilting, origami, hand sewing, rubber stamping, macrame, etc.
This is an Open Studio - so show up when you can and stay as long as you like, until 8 pm.
