I have posted this in two other Python groups in DC and NOVA but I wanted to reach out to anyone not in those groups. I’m the recruiting manager for our technical staffing firm in McLean, VA. We are not the typical technical staffing firm, we move very quickly and have great relationships in place with everyone we work for.
We have 4 full time Python Developer positions available in Washington D.C. These roles are with a government contractor client of ours and they have mid and senior level openings. They are contract to permanent roles and the hiring manager will let any candidate know that he fully intends to bring who he hires on permanent and their budget is already approved for it.
We have a great relationship with this hiring manager and our people on the team have really enjoyed working for him. This is an open source environment and ideally they would like the candidates to have experience with either Django but would be open to other technologies as well.
The positions are between $70K to $105K (The $105K is negotiable based off of experience, they want great talent so they will pay for it as long as their budget permits).
Let me know if anyone is in the job market right now and is interested in hearing more/pursuing this. If you have any questions feel free to give me a call on my office line,[masked]-3288.
Thanks and take care,
