Practical Django Security

This month we'll be taking a look at security. Our guide will be Levi Gross from Matasano. From Levi:

Most of the times security talks are boring. They speak about abstract topics like SQL injection and Cross Site Scripting however, rarely do they show you these bugs in the wild (due to the legal concerns). In this talk we will take a practical look at Django's security features and limitations.

We'd also like to thank this month's sponsor, bitly for generously hosting the meetup.

Be aware that we'll be doing things a little different at this meeting and we'll need everybody to sign in when you arrive at bitly. Please be sure to leave a comment on your RSVP if your meetup name is not your real name. You will not be allowed to enter the meeting if your name is not on the RSVP list.

Where can we find the slides + source for the demo? Will they be posted here?

Just in case some people get lost and are never found again? ;)

I think it's in case people get shortened and are never seen again

Is it possible to video record it? I know it isn't possible for every single meetup, but since this is a feature meetup, I feel like it will benefit people. Otherwise, I think we can ask for a copy of the ppt after the presentation (speaker deck, or raw upload). Thanks! Waiting to enter :)

Another option I can suggest is google hangout broadcast.
