Vancouver Django November Meetup
)This Meetup will take place at the Network Hub by Harbour Center!
This month, Jim Pick will share his experiences with Google App Engine. If you haven't already seen Guido van Rossum's presentation on running Django on GAE have a look! Also check out the guide to getting 1.0 running on GAE.
I'm hoping to spark some conversation about database versioning using django_evolution or otherwise!

Last month Aaron Hilton shared his experiences using SORL Thumbnail - he's posted his slides here.
Bryan Chow - spoke about his Django setup using nginx or lighttpd to proxy requests to FastCGI. Slicehost has articles about getting nginx running on a number of distros (they also have a couple of articles on Django!).
