DCC RPG one shot funnel tryouts...

  • Nov 11, 2013 · 6:30 PM

We’ve been running a weekly DCC campaign for about 2 years on Wed. nights. We run from 6:30pm – 11ish. There’s 5 of us currently (4 of which DM) switching off between adventures so we all get a chance to play.
We’re all dynamic yet chill, well- adjusted folk in our 20s-30s (I used to run a meetup group called Sociable Geeks that I used to find everyone)
We just had a player leave so we have a slot or two open and thought we could run a funnel one-shot/tryouts.

Please only RSVP if you are able to commit weekly (assuming you dig how it goes in the tryouts). Lastly I know meetup groups flake often but since this is in my home please only RSVP if you are 100 percent sure you can make it.

This tryout is for a Monday, and we'd be thereafter doing Wed nights same time.

We're in Lower Haight near Gamescape.
I'll email people directly with details.
(make sure to check the email you get from meetup messages)

P.S. There are some reviews of the system we use on this page:

(It’s a very streamlined old school feel)

Howdy folks. I'll be DMing our little massac.. I mean funnel this Monday. Glad to see so many people signed up, should be really fun!

While Micah will send out instructions and general comments to everyone, I just wanted to throw out some tips

If you have a d20 set, bring it. If you have a zocchi dice set bring that too, if you don't (or don't know what that is), don't worry about it :)

You can look over the DCC core rule book, especially the area on character creation if you have any time, but it's not necessary. I would not however look at any DCC adventures, since you never know which one we'll be running! :) Cheers, and see you on Monday!
