Just dropping in to let everyone know that DND Tea will also take place this wed from 5pm-9pm! I will be running a dungeon delve for the first 5 people to show, but we will have additional DMs available! There will be room to switch in and out of games if you need to head out or want to sit and jump in! QUESTIONS or COMMENTS you can also find us at facebook.com/DnDTea

It was very fun and Alex was a fun 4.0 DM/GM. Met lots of cool people. First time I played where girls outnumbered the boys.

Ha, that's great. Turns out I'll be free around 4ish, too, so see you all then.

Concerning time: Don't worry! William (Owner of Leland Tea) is willing to keep the shop open late for us to play! Because it is the first meeting he understands that it will take a couple meetings to really get things running smoothly. So, if you can't make it until 6 you will still have plenty of time to watch or even play!
William and I are really excited to meet you all tomorrow and get some exciting adventures started! He even made a custom tea menu with blends exclusive to players and DMs!

    Hi everybody! I'm new here.
I'd like to attend this but I'm not free until 6 or so. Does anybody know what the schedule looks like? 3 does seem a bit early for a Wednesday...

Oh, dnd, how I've missed you. My gf and I will try to be there, as we have just moved here after cycling across country to move to this beautiful city of SF. I look forward to some original and challenging play.

Sad to say folks that weekdays are a problem for me due to work. Exceptions are major holidays like this coming monday for instance. Anyways, good luck guys and hope you forge a group or two.

Concerning character creation and edition: I plan for us to iron all that out at site. After everyone has met and talked about their past experiences (if any), we will find those who want to DM. At that point all of these questions will be directed towards your DM. There will most likely be too many players for one giant group, as the rounds would take forever.
I would say, bring your books! You never know who you'll meet, and if you're open, what edition you'll be playing!

Yeah, what are we playing anyway?

Beer caps and quarters are my personal preference for monster stand-ins.

I can bring my own dice and a small pool of minis but the best guy to ask would be JD.

How long do you think people will be there? I can't get back to the city until around 6:00.

D&D Tea is only two weeks away!
    Lets get some discussion started.
Personally I have a large Dry Erase Mat, multiple markers, and a pound of dice to share. I often use colored squares of paper as markers for effects or even monopoly houses for monsters! It's all about the imagination anyway!
If anyone has a hoard of treasures that they are willing to share let us know! I'm begging to think I won't have enough dice for everyone! D:

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
