D&D Encounters: Against the Cult of Chaos

“Against the Cult of Chaos.”

The village of Hommel Lane stands at the edge of the civilized world but all is not well there. You have heard some of the recent calls to venture in that area and hope to find out if there is any truth to the odd tales people are talking about. Sir Hadarai Moonbrook, a paladin of the Lawbringer, is answering the call and you have been asked to join with him on his mission to the borderlands.

If you are brave of heart and swift of feet then join us in this new season of Encounters. This is a season that is much more wide open in the choices you and your party can take. It has taken inspiration from several early first edition D&D adventures and woven them together in a most intriguing plot.

It will most likely be run with the standard 4th edition D&D rules but your DM does have the option to run it with the new D&D Next Rules if all the players want to do so. You may choose any of the player races and classes from the core 4th edition books. Please message the MeetUp group EARLY if you want to play it as a D&D Next game as this requires more preparation work for the players and the DM. The adventure will range from a start of level one and end at level 3. Pregenerated level 1 characters will be available if you do not have a character.

Special note: At the end of the season there will be a drawing at each table group for a prize of a Dungeon Command game. Each Encounter session that you participate in will earn you one prize ticket AND for every purchase of a good or goods over $20 spent at the store you will get a bonus prize ticket. Just our way of saying thanks for all the support you have given the store and the Encounters program. :-)
