Pathfinder Society at Game Keep

The Pathfinder Society is a living campaign. On Golarion, the world of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, the Pathfinder Society is an organization of explorers, vagabonds, sages, and treasure hunters determined to plumb the depths of the darkest tombs, and collect relics and lore from bygone ages. In Pathfinder Society Organized Play, you play a member of the Pathfinder Society, seeking fortune and glory all over the face of Golarion. At the same time, your character works for one of eight factions, all with their own motivations and secret agendas. The Pathfinder Roleplaying Game is an evolution of the 3.5 rules set of the world's oldest fantasy roleplaying game. You can find a free download of the Guide to PFS play here: http://paizo.com/pathfinderSociety/v5748btp... There will also be pregens on hand. Come join us! New players (and GMs!) welcome.

Since this was a trial run of the idea of regularly scheduled modules, I am thinking some feedback is in order. Jonathan, thank you for prepping that module, the time and effort put into prepping must have been immense! We had a great group with such a wide spread of skills/abilities that we overcame several obstacles with little trouble (exception: purple room). If we continue having modules, we need to make sure a few things happen. First, we need to arrive earlier - perhaps with Carl opens the store. Second, it would be imperative that all maps are drawn beforehand (I know you know this but it's good to say anyways). Third, we cannot allow gamer ADD to creep in and eat up our time and focus. As much as we love exploring the possibilities of what could have happened or whatever, it's best if we stick to deciding and reacting to what the dice/module say. Last, if we feel that a module cannot be completed in a single session, maybe consider splitting into two days - 4 hour session

Apparently I was getting confused by the Inquisitor rules for Domains which explicitly state that you only get two of them. I doesn't look like the Druids have that restriction.

The only way I am aware to get a 3rd domain is to multi class cleric/Druid. All the clerical roles limit you to two, or even one (cloistered cleric).

I think the current plan is that either Jonathan will run Thornkeep (1-2) if he's able to attend and prepped or I will run 5-22 Scars of the Third Crusade (1-5). Between parents visiting pre- Fourth of July and computer issues of my own, I haven't had the time to prep Thornkeep. On the other hand, I'm currently one of a handful of GMs in the world that already *have* 5-22...

For Thornkeep, did anyone have a character that can detect / disarm traps?

Guess if Jonathan is running, I need to bring my minis.

Yap. I'll be reporting in with a level 1 Reach Cleric of Baphomet. GLORY TO BAPHOMET!

In the near weekly, "what has everyone done"? Who all that's planning on attending have played either of the following:

4-19 The Night March of Kalkamedes
    3-05 Tide of Twilight

Or are there any requests? I was starting to prep Scars of the Third Crusade, but I might wait for there to be more people, unless there's some *really* diplomatic PCs...

I can most likely make it, it's not a sure thing though. I'll bring level 3 Amiri and a level 1 character of some sort.

Hi all, I need a volunteer or 2 to try out the tracker excel spreadsheet and let me know what you think. (What I need is someone to key in their data for me to test with. If GM then try out the lookup sheet to see how it works for them.)

If you are interested send me a message with your email addy and I will add you to my google drive for access. (This is the pre-Alpha version so it might be a little buggy)

Whatever we do, it should be something relatively easy to use with broad application so almost anybody has access if we want everyone to maintain their own records. That probably means something web based. Excel is great if everybody has it. Dropbox is another possibility for sharing files. Bill, you can email me kripayne@gmail.

Martin let me know if you have any questions. I have granted you permissions to the share and sent an email with the link.

There's possibly going to be a smaller crowd than normal with the Fourth of July weekend. I *should* be free that Saturday and can run a game if there's sufficient interest.
