Pathfinder Society at Game Keep

The Pathfinder Society is a living campaign. On Golarion, the world of the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, the Pathfinder Society is an organization of explorers, vagabonds, sages, and treasure hunters determined to plumb the depths of the darkest tombs, and collect relics and lore from bygone ages. In Pathfinder Society Organized Play, you play a member of the Pathfinder Society, seeking fortune and glory all over the face of Golarion. At the same time, your character works for one of eight factions, all with their own motivations and secret agendas. The Pathfinder Roleplaying Game is an evolution of the 3.5 rules set of the world's oldest fantasy roleplaying game. You can find a free download of the Guide to PFS play here: http://paizo.com/pathfinderSociety/v5748btp... There will also be pregens on hand. Come join us! New players (and GMs!) welcome.

I'm not sure how the Peytonsville Bridge closure is going to affect my arrival on Saturday. I'm going to have to go through it both ways after my vet visit

By the way, I've got both the 1-7 and Confirmation, in case we have a level 1 only table.

Hi Michael, thanks for the great game.

What I'm preparing for tomorrow (2-24: Shadow's Last Stand—Part II: Web of Corruption) has an investigation component, and would be good for at least someone to have a Diplomacy score ;)

I'm not sure what Jonathan is preparing, but we should be covered in case we have a couple walk ins

I will be out of tier I guess. I will run either Eran or Tena (most likely Tena as I want to try her new initiative)

Looks like we are gonna be close for 2 tables this saturday. I know that Martin is planning on GenCon and will not be there, so that is 6 confirmed +1 add. So we may need to have a second GM have something prepared as we are only on Tuesday.

Michael, seems we are gonna have an abundance of level 1s there this Saturday. I have several made up but would like to see if we might have enough higher level people for a level 3 or 4.

So do you need my lot of minis? Battlemat? Fold outs?

      August 13, 2014

    • Jonathan B.

Just a few minis, I need to see how big the map is before I can say if I need a mat.

With Gencon this weekend, what will we be doing? I will be making the Chex mix this week, considering that I missed last week. (If anyone that is RSVPed have allergies to nuts, garlic, sodium issues please let me know and I will try and make something special for you and I will need to know no later than Thursday). I am planning on 4 flavors Low Sodium, Normal, Garlic, and Spicy. The way I will hand out is as follows: 1-Karl, 2-GMs that I have played under, 3- People that I normally game with, 4-People that RSVP, and then Walkins. This is another means that I can help promote people RSVPing so we can get semi-accurate head counts.

Unfortunately, I won't be there. I'm in Knoxville this weekend. I would love some left over chex mix though.

We shall see if any is left over. This stuff goes fast.

I've never played Pathfinder but I've always wanted to learn. Do you accept new players? Especially rookies? I have no books or rule sets, however I'd get them.

Thanks Martin and Bill. I really appreciate it. I'll go grab the core rule book and check out the website. Be prepared for more questions. Y'all have been very helpful

Hi Michael, if you are planning on being there for Saturday, could I kindly ask you to RSVP? This helps us on planning on the number of players and the number of tables.

The new 6.0 guide for organized play is now available for download.

Additionally, the Additional Resources Page was updated. Some notable mentions include making available all the Advanced Class Guide classes and the Nagaji / Wayang / Kitsune races. Aasimar / Tiefling characters will need a boon to play as of Thursday this week.

Finally, Pageant of the Peacock is no longer allowed in Pathfinder Society. Probably not an issue for our group, as I don't know of any level 4+ Bards.

Huzzah! Just saw that I'm in the Pathfinder Guide to Organized Play ;)
