Game Night / Kali's Birthday - Corner Brewery in Ypsilanti

Join us for an evening of good gaming, good beer, and great fun to celebrate Kali's birthday! Card games, board games, one-shot RPGs, and whatever else you think might be fun to try are welcome.

We will bring Bang!, Carcassonne, Illuminati, Khet, Pandemic, Spooks, and Super Munchkin. Munchkin Quest and/or Battlestar Galactica may also be available if Jeff and Chris are able to make it. Please feel free to bring your own as well, but I do not recommend anything that is complex to learn and play. We have found it difficult to teach and finish complicated games in this setting.

The Corner Brewery is located at the corner of Forest and Norris in Ypsilanti, just two blocks north of Cross Street. The address is 720 Norris if you want to plug it into Google Maps, MapQuest, or your GPS.

They brew Arbor Brewing Company beers on-site and always have a good selection. They also have non-alcoholic beverages, good food, and an enclosed outdoor beer garden if the weather is nice.

Despite selling beer, the Brewery is a family-friendly environment. We have seen people in there with young children on several occasions, and even a kids' birthday party taking place.

Happy Hour runs from 4-7pm, and the Brewery is open until midnight on weekdays, so we will have plenty of time for gaming.

Hi Louie! Please feel free to come out and join us for some games. These game nights are a relatively new thing we've been doing outside the normal D&D meetups, but you can at least meet a few of us there, and we can answer questions about the second Saturday meetups if you are curious about anything. We all loved BSG, so please do bring that if you can make it. Hope to see you there!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
