Hey I've been getting messages from you guys. I'm interested in participating in DnD. What type of game is it, how many players, and are there going to be annoying teen type ppl playing?

Re: Christian, yeah, I believe it's been quite a while since he's been able to be active in organizing for the group. I agree that it might be a good idea to remove him from the leadership team for now, just so members will have less confusion over who they need to contact. If later on he has more time to help out, we can add him back in.

Hello Jerod,

I'm assuming that once I give up the Organizer role, then Norm can take it over. I'll look into it a bit further. I'd be happy to relinquish the duty to someone that's been more involved, and is active. On a side note, I've noticed that Christian hasn't visited the site in over a month... yet he's on the leadership team. I'm thinking about removing him from the team, and just let him continue to be a regular member. Any thoughts?

Steve,

Norm has volunteered to take over. He's been running one of the regular meetups. I'm one of the current assistant organizers; do you know what he needs to do to have custody transfered to him?

Thank you for emailing me. I appreciate any support I can get out here, this place is not exactly the best spot to be in (if you know what I mean). Anyways, I'm glad to know that the Austin meetup group will continue.

I'm not what you call an active member (I have a group in S. Austin that is presently full and running each week), but I would consider footing the bill.
I would simply insist on being able to post openings for NPCs run by visiting players, drop-in opportunities for guests, etc.
Just a thought.
Hope you find someone who can run it regularly that you are all more familiar with.
Bless those who have done it in the past (bless you, you are my hero, sir, and I teach my second graders who our heroes are - NOT popstars, NOT sports figures, NOT teachers, though we might be good role-models, a very different thing).

Others, like Norm, did a great job keeping things running.

Keep it going, folks.  It's a good idea.

Hello all,

As I just recently saw my email regarding this group, I decided to keep this group going for three more months. After that, it's up to you guys to figure out who will take over. I'm currently deployed in Iraq, and unfortunately I will not be able to meet you guys until I come back. May your rolls be crits, and let the game continue!
