AD&D 1st ed. Game

It's not my intent to spam the meetup group, but I'm yet to hear back from a few players who were interested in the 1E game. Here's some more info. We have plenty of room at the table.

You do not need to have the books. We have the books provided.

I am choosing to set the game in a modified Eberron world that 3.5/4E players will recognize. We will be using AD&D 1st edition rules however, and I think the setting lends itself to the classic game as well.

Don and I met last weekend where he rolled up his human ranger and we role played some minor encounters to set him in the world. There are still openings for characters of all types.

We plan to meet again Saturday from 12:00-6:00. This is just a working time for now and the hours can be modified to suit the group.

Someone suggested to me the possibility we play a 1st ed. game every other week and play a 3.5 or 4e game in the weeks between. This may attract players with different tastes who want to try another version yet get their preferred game in also. I actually wouldn't mind playing in a newer ed. game, but I don't have the desire to DM anything but classic games.

Remember, whatever version you prefer the game's the same: meet face to face to participate in imaginative adventure.
