This Meetup is for people who are new to Pathfinder and want to learn the game. We would like to run a few 1st-2nd level adventures and start a core group of gamers who want to meet regularly and play an entire campaign. The first session or two will focus on basic rules & mechanics of the game, but should still move at a good pace & be fun.
New players should familiarize themselves with the rules either with the Hero's Handbook from the Beginner's Box or the Pathfinder Core Rulebook, but we will help you and answer questions.
The Pathfinder Core Rulebook is available online free from the publisher, but I highly recommend buying the hardcover book if you can .
I enjoyed it very much. With a good crew of three PCs, this session was fun and interesting. Most importantly I met some people that are clever and play well with others. We will probably be able to begin a campaign soon once we have a few more like-minded adventurers.

...and what's done is done. I accepted his explanation so let's not continue to belabor it. Enjoy the game.

Looking at it another way, there are only 2 campaigns being run, one once a month, the other twice. There's no need that I can see to overlap. You're entitled to your opinion, and I don't presume any nefarious intent on anyone's part, but to come into a group and immediately schedule a meetup over an established game of the same type is ham-fisted at best, Chris. IMO, folks should at least anticipate that reaction and try to avoid it. Like I said, the point's been made, its up to Robert and what

We are always looking to add more games, we were just sharing our concern not out right saying it was wrong.... but back to the point at hand. If you want to try and get more people signed up for this game before this weekend I would suggest starting up a discussion thread in the forum area so you can give more information about the game and field questions for some of our members.

Also, there are 90 people in this group. There's plenty of players to go around for a dozen games at the same time throughout the city. It's not disrespect, it's being practical.

Not sure if that's the real reason, since we have yet to hear from Robert himself, but if that's really it IMO it's not good enough of a reason to schedule over another DM's game. I'm going to suggest that if Robert he wants more players from this Meetup, he should move it to a time that doesn't disrespect another DM's game. But nobody's going to force him if that's the way he wants to play it.

I emailed Robert as well b/c I was concerned with it being at the same time as Josh's game. Thank you Josh for providing a location for this meetup if Robert decides to move it to weekends offsetting your game.

Yeah, not sure if you even saw the calendar, but unclear why you would do this at the exact same time as the only other Pathfinder campaign being run right now.

Hi. If you're willing to run the game on the 13th instead of the 6th, I'd be willing to host at my apartment (if you still need a location) at around 2pm and I'll be able to join the game.
I have a lot of experience with pathfinder and its 3.X edition Dungeons and Dragons predecessors and I can provide a lot of help to anyone new to the game as well.
