I am this kind of geek?

I spend too much time looking at Craigslist and checking/rechecking my email inbox, but I started building web pages several decades ago.

I like to wear hats?

Well, sometimes I like to wear hats but there are way too many different kinds, so I get dizzy thinking about which one to wear.

I am awesome?

I am still living so there must be hope.

I'm willing to help people in the community with...

Very basic stuff, like how to press the on button, plug it in, reset the wireless device.

My skillset generally looks like this:

Writing, typing, reading but hate tech manuals and the passive tense. I can teach ESL? My skill set: Asking questions, questioning institutional biases, assuming that there is more I don't know, withholding judgement (this is a very important skill). I would add "listening," but I am nearly deaf in the speech range, which was one reason that I stopped reporting news for a small newspaper.

Hi, I am Frank. My first computer was a Macintosh C back when they first came out. Don't know why I never learned programming beyond "Hello world" in C; I think it was just too hard to teach myself. I did learn some HTML, then they went to CSS.

What Frank Ellsworth L. is saying about this Meetup Group

!doctype society are really nice folks. If I don't enter into more conversations, it's only because I don't hear well, but I like the people and being around them was fun.
