Throughout Richard Nixon's presidency, three of his top White House aides obsessively documented their experiences with Super 8 home movie cameras. Young, idealistic, and dedicated, they had no idea that a few years later they'd all be in prison. Our Nixon is an all-archival documentary presenting those home movies for the first time, along with other rare footage, creating an intimate and complex portrait of the Nixon presidency as never seen before.
I like to watch documentary films. I am sure there are others who are like me in this regard! Therefore, this group is for people who love to see documentary films and discuss/share ideas.
I don't know about you but the reason I like documentaries because they help me to connect the dots of my understanding. They help me to see, hear and read at the same time. Reading, traveling, writing etc. can serve similar purpose but watching well-made documentaries can be highly effective plus comparatively time-saving, inexpensive, challenging and generally enjoyable.
On top of that, if watched with others, it can be a wonderful conversation starter.
