Meet fellow members of New York's civil society at Josie Woods
The first of our regular "Last Mondays" civil society gatherings. We'll meet under the umbrella the new Free Culture Alliance NYC at 6 PM at Josie Woods Pub at 11 Waverley Place by NYU: (http://www.yelp.com/biz/josie-woods-pub-new-york-2 with some $3 and $4 pints.)
There should be folks from New York's Internet Society, Students for Free Culture, Wikimedia NYC and other like-minded movements at the pub - see http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Free_Culture_Alliance_NYC.
Afterward, a bunch of participants will walk to the nearby Free Culture NYU meeting at 7:30 PM.
Come and celebrate with us the success of the strike back against SOPA and exchange info about upcoming events and ideas on how to create a better city (with the .nyc TLD and otherwise).
