Meetup details changed: Who's TLD is it? City, State, or "Internet Community"?

I've updated this Meetup. For more details, see the full listing or below.

When: Thursday, September 8,[masked]:00 AM

Where: Google+ Hangout

RSVP limit: 10 "Yes" RSVPs

Tomorrow 's G+ Hangout will address the question about New York's TLD: Who's TLD is it: the City of New York, the State of New York, or the "Internet Community"?

It's somewhat complicated if you consider that there are several options - .newyork, .newyorkcity, or the presumed .nyc - with the city, state, and "Internet Community" having more or less rights or power to claim each.

To help sort this out we'll have two guests - Mike Palage, an attorney and former member of ICANN's board of directors, and Danny "The Public" Younger.

The venue is my G+ Hangout, so only 10 can attend. But it will be recorded for presentation elsewhere. It's from 10-11 AM.

Best,

Tom Lowenhaupt
