Crocker Art Museum: Courtyard Classic Film Series “GREASE!”

Grease Good girl Sandy and greaser Danny fell in love over the summer.  But when they unexpectedly discover they're now in the same high school, will they be able to rekindle their romance? (1978, 110 minutes, rated PG-13)

DATE:  September 4, 2014

TIME: 7:00 p.m. Courtyard opens; 8:30 p.m. film starts

Each screening takes place in the museum's E. Kendell Davis Courtyard, which opens at 7 p.m. for attendees to set up lawn chairs and blankets. (Seating is otherwise provided.)  Refreshments are available for purchase, but outside food and drink is not permitted. Each screening also has a themed art project to complete while you wait for the movie to start.  Each ticket also includes admission to the museum on the day of the screening.

PRICE:  $5  Members; $6 Students/Youth; $8 Nonmembers.  Purchase tickets at the museum or by calling by calling 916.808.1182.  (Groupon tickets available too!)

PARKING:  On-street parking meters bordering the Museum and Crocker Park require quarters (free after 6 PMMonday-Saturday and free all day Sunday). A small parking lot is available on 2nd Street (Lot Y) and costs $1.50 per hour.

Parking for visitors with disabilities can be found in the City parking lots and at meters located on 2nd Street.  Disabled Person Parking Placards do not receive free parking in the City parking lots.
