711 T St, sacramento, CA
Join a few hundred Sacramentans for this all-ages, family-friendly & FREE water fight, 2 pm August 25, Southside Park!
Sacramento's Summers are some of the warmest in the nation! Come out & enjoy the sun and fun!
Please bring water guns, supersoakers, water balloons, & slingshots (to fire off water bombs)! Oh, and bring WATER to fill those "weapons".
We recommend wearing swimwear, or shorts or even a costume you don't mind getting soaked!
Don't forget a towel and/or change of clothes for after!
If you bring water balloons, please do your part to stick around after and help clean a little bit. The park is home to ducks and small children who play here so lets make sure we take care of any choking hazards and litter.
Sacramento is home to over 400,000 people. Let's make sure each and everyone of them know about this! You can share the original FB invite: https://www.facebook.com/events/325485930863520/
Inspired by the one they had in NYC recently that got something like over 10,000 attendees!
Oh, and if you're a photographer, there are bound to be some great photo-ops like the ones above!
If you bring a phone, be sure to put it in a zip-lock baggie.
Krysty is right. Be careful, play nice, play fair, be aware of your surroundings. respect the property and clean up after yourself. Keep on the grass and away from bushes/ponds/plant areas and pick up at least the same # of broken balloons as you threw. Might be best to stick to water guns instead of balloons if you don't want to spend your after-time picking up balloons.
