Baby Boomer Entrepreneurs is a professional networking group for (you guessed it) entrepreneurs in the San Francisco Bay Area who run or are inspired to start their own businesses. We all have a goal of building our businesses through referrals and building a solid marketing system.
As the organizer, fellow-business owner, and career coach, I am excited to hear stories of your success and give you tips of what worked for me and what did not, especially using social media. I understand personal and business branding very well and can help you see how to showcase your talents to the world. Recently, my "doyoueve" tweet was featured on CNN, during the interview with Suze Orman on the Piers Morgan Tonight show, available now on demand through Comcast.
We give leads and referrals to each other and we help educate one another by inviting key note specialist-members in different areas of expertise, such as financial planning, health and wellness and other subjects of interest.
As a member, after your third attendance, you have an opportunity to run a presentation showing your products and services or give an expert presentation. You also have an opportunity to explain your business in depth and answer any questions that other members may have. The reason why we want you to present after your three-meetup confirmed attendance is that we want our members to genuinely be part of our group and contribute to the group growth and effectiveness in an ongoing commitment and not just to forward your own interests at one meeting. In the best interest of our group, we do not allow non-members to participate or make any presentations.
Note the post on the bottom of the screen, which was broadcast on CNN's Piers Morgan Tonight live show.
Beginning in 2013, we will be switching off between South and East Bay locations, so please verify the meetup locale before you attend.
