Topic: Irrational Beliefs: Where does faith come from? Does faith improve life?  (Come prepared to share one irrational belief that you actually hold - ie. my pet fish is a complex emotional being)

      It's a bit disingenuous on the part of whoever made that to claim that it was Kurt Vonnegut's words. It was in Mother Night and should have been cited as such. Also, this is the same guy who said "I do feel that evolution is being controlled by some sort of divine engineer. I can't help thinking that. And this engineer knows exactly what he or she is doing and why, and where evolution is headed. That’s why we’ve got giraffes and hippopotami and the clap." and that the only proof he needed for the existence of God was music.

      Also, not sure the 'faith' he's talking about in that quote is religious faith: the whole book is about a guy who's trying to prove that he isn't a war criminal but in fact someone who helped the Allies during the war.
