I am looking for a illustration partner for a children's book.

This would be a 50/50 partnership for someone with
the right attitude and sensibilities.

I already have much of the concept art done but I need
someone with strong finishing skills and an
interest in cartoon illustration to help me complete it.
This will be a self published book and I have story
ideas for a whole series. I have already self
distributed a similar project with success. I
can tell you more about that when we talk.

This a really cool project, a children's fantasy
set in Vancouver.

If you are interested, send me a line. I'd
love to hear from you.

I would also be interested in such a project, if you are considering more than one illustrator...

Please check out some of my work here:

Look under illustration and also chalk for the fantasy-type stuff...

I thought a children's book would be neat if a few different collaborating artists each contributed one double page spread of the story in their own style. Of course this would be more suited to a book with a low word count.

Just a thought.

Sounds good!
I am a local cartoonist and would be interested in collaborating and sharing ideas! Maybe we can do this at our next meetup? Mines very cartoony (like Peanuts etc) so I don't know if they are good for fantasy books but anyway would be interested in sharing ideas about the creative process with fellow illustrators in Vancouver!
